Record cleaning

Every collector of records will know that no matter how well looked after all vinyl records will accumulate dust leading to some surface noise being heard when played. Our experience in listening to LPs has confirmed that even those which look mint or near mint will have 'clicks' and 'pops' and hence Kernow Classics cleans every record prior to adding it to the catalogue for sale.
We use a Keith Monks Record Cleaning Machine, the industry standard to do this. The Keith Monks Record Cleaning Machine works by gently brushing each side of the LP with a mixture of alcohol and distilled water, and then vacuuming this fluid together with the accumulated dust and dirt from the LP. This cleaning process gives a much quieter playing surface. Each cleaned record is then placed in a new inner sleeve.
We recommend that prior to despatch records are cleaned once more. Please ask if you would like to take advantage of this service at the discounted rate of £1.25 per LP.
Kernow Classics also offers a record cleaning service for your own LPs. The charge of £2.00 per LP for this service (plus postage and packaging) includes a new polylined inner sleeve. Please contact Kernow Classics by telephone 01726 71714 / 07989 398782, or by email (enquiries@kernowclassics.co.uk) if you would like to use this service.
